IT and ICT Industry in India : NASSCOM

Mr. Shivendra Singh, Vice President of National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) was on a one-day visit to Chicago on 01 July 2024.

Consulate General of India, Chicago, with support from Global Indian Diaspora members, organized a talk by Mr. Shivendra Singh, Vice President of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) in the Consulate premises on the following – “IT and ICT Industry in India: Innovation, Growth and Opportunities”. The session was attended by about sixty representatives from the business community including IT start-up entrepreneurs as well as senior representatives from trade bodies, regional chambers of commerce and Federal Government representatives.

In his remarks, Mr. Shivendra Singh, outlined the critical importance of India’s IT industry for USA and in emerging opportunities. Further he, highlighted that the Indian DeepTech startup landscape is expanding rapidly, leveraging technologies like AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Robotics.

In the World driven by digital natives, India’s tech ecosystem is thriving, with NASSCOM leading the way! Great initiative by Consul General of India, Chicago Hon.
